The species database presently includes species-level information on distribution and conservation status for 331 diurnal raptor species in 261 countries and island groups. Information on population size and trends is also included. Using the “Advanced Search” feature, it is possible to search on multiple categories at the same time.
Easily categorized information on ecological factors (e.g., nest site preference), behavioral traits, island endemism, and conservation threats will be added in the future. |
