I am a southern California biologist who has been doing independent research on a wide variety of ecological and conservation oriented topics related to raptors and their habitats.

   Research Interests

Habitat and home range use, natal dispersal, breeding dispersal, territory and mate fidelity, survivorship, migration, food habits, population ecology, reproductive success, status, habitat conservation, lead poisoning, urban populations, wind farms, etc.
I am also have a research interest in owls, including Barn Owl, Great Horned Owl, Long-eared Owl, Short-eared Owl, and Western Screech-owl.
